Amanda Andrade-Rhoades

Editor & Resident Ink Slinger at GenYize

Amanda Andrade-Rhoades is the editor of GenYize. She moonlights as a journalist and photographer. Her work has been featured in the San Francisco Bay Guardian, Harper's Bazaar, San Francisco Magazine and Opposing Views, among others. She's also been honored with the Dick Blake Award for Excellence in Journalism and won Best Photo Essay in the International Labor and Communications Association's annual awards. Her parents like to brag about her to the grocery store check-out guy sometimes.

Amanda hails from southern California and loves corgis, singing in the car and the San Francisco Giants.

Since graduating with her degree in Media Studies from the University of San Francisco at the ripe old age of 20, she's been learning how to be a real adult who doesn't live off of microwaved burritos.

We'll let you know when she achieves that.
