Casey J. Cornelius

Higher Education

Casey J. Cornelius is the founder of ForCollegeForLife as well as an educator, author, speaker and advocate for higher education. After spending more than a decade as a faculty member, advisor and student affairs administrator, he launched ForCollegeForLife in order help students maximize their potential and better navigate their collegiate and life journey. 

Casey is the editor of Pioneering Success: A Guide to College Expectations (2011) and an article that he co-authored, Visionary Leadership and Its Relationship to Organizational Effectiveness, was recently published in the Leadership & Organization Development Journal.  He has also delivered professional papers and speeches to students and higher education professionals across the nation. He is a graduate of the University of Toledo (BA, MA), the University of Illinois (M.Ed.) and is a doctoral candidate at Texas Tech University.  He is also a proud member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and honorary inductee of Phi Theta Kappa International Fraternity.

Casey spends his free time reading and training as a practitioner in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  He is a blue belt under world champion Dan Alvarez and the 2012 Elite Federation of Grapplers Middleweight champion.  He resides in Michigan with his wife and daughter.
