Olya Dadressan

Entrepreneurship & Financial Planning

Olya Dadressan is a Regional Vice President with Primerica (NYSE: PRI), who owns and operates a financial brokerage in Northern Virginia area. She recruits people to start a part-time career in financial services and provides complimentary weekly trainings and mentorship sessions to aspiring entrepreneurs at her office.

She made a transition from an employee to entrepreneur to business owner after starting a family and facing the 6 weeks maternity leave dilemma: do I continue to build someone else’s business while strangers raise my newborn or do I find a way to take control over my career while being a mom? Previously she used to work as a career advisor for American University in Washington, DC.

She is intimately familiar with challenges millennials face in terms of career choices, job search, income generation and personal finance and is uniquely qualified to provide expert advice in all of these areas. She holds an MA in Human Rights and International Politics from the University of Manchester, UK and BA in International Economic Relations from Belarusian State University, Belarus.
