Stacy Hayden holds a bachelors in elementary education from Radford University and currently works as a teacher in Alexandria, Virginia.
Stacy always dreamed of being an educator. At 12, she was told that teachers didn’t make enough money and she should pursue a different career. At 19, a child named John changed her life. John taught her that not only could she truly impact the lives of children, but how much one child could change her life.
During her time at Radford, she worked at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center, showing kids how to learn by doing. Since then she has transferred this teaching style to her classroom. In her two years of teaching, she learned that everyone was right about the money, but her experiences with John and all of the other children were worth it.
